Imported Kit Or No?

My riding group all seems to have gone crazy over imported cycle clothing and Assos, Castelli and Vermarc logos way outnumber those on my locally made kit.

Is it worth my while to pay a premium and follow their lead? - Adam Lawson

Those are all European brands, Adam. Europe is where cycling was invented, nurtured and perfected so it's obvious the best quality clothing is going to come from there. However, as I keep pointing out, style isn't measured on how you look, it's how carry a look off. Drop your group on a climb in your cheap local clothing and you'll be just as cool as the last guy to the summit in full Castelli regalia. Oh, one rule on all cycle clothing: black shorts and single- or twotone jerseys. Logo-infested clothing is only for pros.
